Florence

abro since the 30s

Abro was founded by the grandparents of the current managing directors in the 1930s. They started with a small belt production facility in Rodgau, which quickly expanded its range to include high-quality leather handbags. In the 1950s, the second generation joined the company and made a significant contribution to the constant growth of abro.

In 1995 the management was taken over by Achim and Stefan Bruder, the third generation, and even more emphasis was placed on recognizing new trends and designing stylish bags and belts with a pronounced feeling for the latest fashion.

The focus is on the combination of fashion, functionality and quality. The leather comes from Italy and is produced in Italy and Romania.

Chiarugi was founded in 1969 and continues the traditional craft of leather goods production in Florence. A story that is accompanied by fashion and trends, where elegance and quality continue to be in the foreground. The founder Remo Chiarugi passed the company and its values on to his son Emiliano and is still run today with the same passion.

Quality from Italy

In 1950 the history of Medici began with the production of canvas bags, only in the 90s the first items made of vegetable tanned leather from the region were made and are still being expanded today. The leather comes from the Arzignano region (northern Italy), the cotton lining is made in Prato, and the accessories also come directly from the area. The leather is split, making it thinner, softer and cheaper. The styles are simple and practical and also available in fashionable colors...

The founder Angelika Canal knows what is important when it comes to professional instruments for manicures and pedicures. In her job as a foot care and beautician, she recognized the need for high-quality instruments in the cosmetics industry. First she looked for suitable splinter tweezers and quickly discovered that there was no adequate quality on the market.

Angelika Canal founded the company Canal instruments in 1995 and set herself the goal of supplying Austria and the German-speaking countries with high-quality products.

In November 2017 - she sold the company to two of her employees: the former managing director Patrick Stampfer and the deputy managing director Stefanie Fink. Due to her many years of experience, Angelika Canal still works as an external consultant for the two young entrepreneurs.
